We were looking for a property thats secluded for our Elopement located close to Leadville and that's exactly what we got. Big log cabin with loft that sleeps comfortably 8 people. Comfortable beds with plenty of pillows. Very clean and quiet location. No Ac but plenty of fans that work amazing, however no fans in the bathrooms for the hot shower takers just left the doors open. Host Nadim was very sweet and accommodated our stay beautifully. This place has a full kitchen, beautiful fireplace and 2 full bathrooms with separate sinks in the bedrooms. This crazy cabin provides everything you need for friends and family. Game boards, tvs in the rooms and beautiful space outside to enjoy summer activities including several firepits on the property. We are so grateful we found this listing and can see why this cabin is being enjoyed year -round. Thank You again Nadim and Staff. We will be back in years to come.

We loved this house! It was perfect for our family of five. The games were wonderful, the house was SO comfortable, with so much space for us all to stretch out and spread out if needed. The bathrooms were very clean, as was the entire house. Lots and all amenities needed were there and ready for us! The couches were extremely comfortable, and a definite perk were the VERY soft blankets on each bed. The views were beautiful. We would definitely stay here again. Leadville is a quaint little town, with cool temperatures that were very enjoyable.

Leadville, Colorado, United States
The cabin sits 2 miles from downtown Leadville, Colorado — at 10,152 ft, the highest incorporated city in North America — known for Harrison Avenue's cafes, restaurants, and preserved mining-era architecture. The property borders the Arkansas River and a 154-acre open space, with Mt. Elbert and Mt. Massive, the two highest peaks in the Rockies, on the skyline. Turquoise Lake (10 minutes) offers fishing, paddling, and a scenic shoreline drive, while Ski Cooper (15 minutes) is a low-key ski hill popular with families. Summer activities include hiking, mountain biking, fly fishing, 4-wheeling, and the Leadville Trail 100 race series; winter adds skiing, tubing, snowmobiling, and ice skating. Twin Lakes and the Independence Pass approach are a short drive south.

No A/C — Leadville's elevation keeps nights cool, and central heat covers winter. Not pet friendly. Stays over 15 nights include a required mid-stay cleaning.
Altitude is real: Leadville sits near 10,000 ft, and the first day or two can bring dizziness or nausea — hydrate and ease in. Consider travel insurance if you're sensitive to elevation.
This is the high country, so you may see wildlife or the occasional insect — keep doors closed when you can. Snowmobiles must stay trailered on the property; the closest trailhead is Leadville Junction toward Turquoise Lake. Exterior security cameras (not monitored) cover the entrance.
