This room was reasonably priced and convenient. It was very clean and worked for us very well on a last minute trip to Crested Butte. We did not sleep well as the room is not air conditioned and it is an unseasonably hot summer. That is not the host’s fault, as the listing mentions the lack of air conditioning. The placement of the room and only one window available to open did not allow for much airflow from outside. The Grand Lodge is dated but clean and the location was good.

Chris was a very responsive and helpful host. I enjoyed the bike trails from the condo and the downhill bike park. There are many coffee shops and restaurants around as well.

Loved this room! Great location. Shuttle was consistent, reliable, and convenient. Loved the hotel pool and hot tub. The room was warm during the day without AC but felt great at nighttime when we slept. Loved having the kitchenette as well. Would stay again.

The Grand Lodge sits at the base of Crested Butte Mountain Resort in Mt. Crested Butte, a 3-minute walk from the lifts, with the free town shuttle stopping right outside. Historic downtown Crested Butte and Elk Avenue — known for art galleries, breweries, and dining — are 6 minutes away. The area is a four-season destination: skiing and snowboarding in winter, and hiking, mountain biking, and rafting in summer, with major trailheads 5–25 minutes from the door. Gunnison–Crested Butte Regional Airport (GUC) is about a 40-minute drive.
